6. Trouble shooting

DANGER!
repairs or manipulating of the electric components of the appliance can

6.1 Checklist

POSSIBLE CAUSE
 The plug of the appliance is not
connected to the socket.
 The plug has become loose.
 The socket is not supplied with
energy.
 The fuse is switched off.
 The voltage is too low.
 Door is not closed properly.
 No water supply.
 START/PAUSE button is pressed.
 POWER is not pressed.
 Heater defective.
 Connectors of the hoses are not
watertight.
 Drain pump is blocked.
 No energy supply.
 Circuit board damaged.
 Wiring harness damaged.
 Accumulated, damp detergent.
Never try to repair the appliance yourself. Improper
MALFUNCTION
The appliance does not work at all.
Programmes are not started.
Faulty heating.
Water leakage.
Indicators/display do not work.
Some detergent left in the container.
MEASURE
 Check the corresponding socket by
connecting it with another appliance.
 Check the fuse box.
 Compare the data on the model
plate with the data of your energy
supplier.
 Close the door.
 Check the water supply.
 Check your settings.
 The appliance can wash but not
heat. Contact your aftersales service
immediately.
 Check the hoses.
 Clean the outlet hose.
 Check the drain pump.
 Check the energy supply; otherwise
contact your aftersales service.
 Clean the container. Use liquid
detergents. Use detergents suitable
for washers.
