CAUTION
■ Use the included connection cable exclusively. Modifying the cable will void your warranty.
■ The camera is water- and dustproof and has been licensed according to the international standard IP69K. However, vehicle
cleaning using high pressure water and steam jet devices may still lead to damage of IP69K rated camera models by intrusion
of water.
■ If the motorhome is treated with a water jet high pressure cleaning device, make sure to keep a distance of at least one meter
between the water nozzle and the camera sensor / housing.

• CVBS when
reflector.
open
2
2. Pull the brake light reflector unit out of its mounting
slot. Disconnect the white power supply system
connector plug of the vehicle.
3
3. Screw in and tighten the stainless steel mounting
bolts by hand (5Nm). Use a dab of Loctite, if possible.
4. Route the main cable of the ZE-RCE3703AHD cam
from the device slot in the vehicle cockpit / dashboard to
the brake light opening in the upper rear section of the
vehicle.
There are two green wires directly in front of the mini
4-PIN connector at the end of the camera cable.
These wires can be used to configure the camera video
signal output of the ZE-RCE3703AHD, depending on the
compatibility of the camera input of the head unit used.
With twisted green wires an AHD video signal is present
at the yellow RCA plug, with untwisted wires a CVBS
signal. Configure the green wires accordingly and do not
forget to insulate the bare copper ends.

5. Insert the brake light assembly into the main housing.
Next, plug in the white power supply system connector
into the socket on the brake light reflector housing
backside. Connect the mini-4PIN connector of the cam
sensor end to its counterpart of the extension cable.
6
6. Align the cam housing / reflector assembly over the
mounting location. Fix the assembly with the original
Philips head screws.
7
7. Connect the cables and plugs of the cams main
harness to the respective cables and connectors of the
head-unit. Observe and follow the installation instructions
of the chosen head-unit. Depending on the make and
model of the HU, it may be necessary to configure or
select camera signal input parameters like PAL / NTSC
and AHD / CVBS.
8
8. Perform a cam function test. Also check for proper
function of the 3rd brake light. Align the camera sensor
manually, for best desired image section. Installation and
cam setup is completed.
