Attaching and adjusting the parallel stop (À g. O)
The double-high parallel stop (26) can be used in two posi-

any side of the saw blade.
TO ATTACH THE STOP IN THE PROPER POSITION,
DO THE FOLLOWING:
Loosen the knob (77).
Slide the bracket from the left or right. The clamping plate
(78) engages behind the front edges of the table.
Turn the knob tight (77).
Check to make sure the stop is parallel to the saw blade.
If adjustment is required, proceed as follows:
Adjust the stop in such a way that it lies parallel to the
saw blade. Also check the distance between the saw
blade and the stop on the front and rear side of the blade.
Turn the adjustment screw in the stop's holder inward or
outward, as necessary.
The stop is installed at the factory to the right of the saw blade.
TO PREPARE THE STOP FOR USE ON THE LEFT OF
THE SAW BLADE, DO THE FOLLOWING:
Loosen the knob (77).
Pull the bracket (79) out and insert it at the other end.
Install the stop onto the table.
Turn the knob tight (77).
WARNING: Use the 11 mm proÀ le for cutting
low work pieces to length in order to allow ac-

the sliding rod (17).
WARNING: The back end of the stop should
be level with the front side of the splinter guard.
Converting from table saw mode to mitre saw
mode (À g. A3, D, E1, E2, L1)
Remove the parallel stop (26).
Turn the adjustment wheel (55) on the adjuster (23)
