•If the set is not used for a long period of time or
is used only from an AC mains supply, remove
all the batteries to preventpotential damage due
to possible battery leakage.
•Avoid usingor placingthis unitnear sourcesof
heat. Do not leave it in an automobile exposed to
direct sunlight for a long period of time with the
doors and windows closed, as this may deform
the cabinet.
•When not in use, disconnect the AC adaptor
from the AC mains supply.
•Do
not bring magnetized commuter passes,
credit cards, recorded tapes, etc., close to the
speaker.
CASSETTE
TAPES
Use normal type of tape only.
Cassettetapes, both recordedand unrecorded,
should not be stored in locations with high temper-
ature,highhumidity or directsunlight. N everplace
a recorded cassette near a magnetic source such
as a magnet or aTV set as this may affect tape
performance.
Cassette tapes exceeding 90 minutes
Thesetapesarehandyfor theirlongplaybackand
recordingtime but be careful about repeatedly
stoppingand starting,rewinding andfast forward-
ing thesetapesin shortintervalsas theyarethin,
tend to stretch and may become entangled in the
machine.
