Infrared cabin and infrared heaters
The installation and connection to the control unit must be effected as per installa-
ƒ
tion diagrams and instructions in the installation manual.
Prior to commissioning ensure that all lines have been reliably connected.
ƒ
Do not install more infrared heaters in an infrared cabin as indicated for the given
ƒ
cabin size. Ask the cabin manufacturer as necessary.
Use one of the control units specified below for control of the infrared heater. This
ƒ
control unit should be mounted in a suitable location on the cabin's outer side, and
the corresponding temperature sensor inside the cabin as per installation instruc-
tions for the control unit.
The infrared heaters should be arranged so that they ensure a possibly even heat
ƒ
coming from all directions for a user.
Pay attention to the requirements and limitations for the installation of a specific
ƒ
infrared heater model as per its installation manual. The infrared heaters are typically
not designed for the ceiling-mounted installation, unless they are expressly intended for
such installation.
In the case of the installation in the back zone of the cabin the appropriate protec-
ƒ
tive feature must be provided to ensure that the safety grill of the infrared heater
cannot be accidentally pressed in. Use, for instance a wooden backrest.
Pay attention, that the infrared heaters will supply the energy (heat) primarily
ƒ
through direct thermal radiation.
In addition, a thermal heat output is generated on the housing of the heat radiator
ƒ
This can overheat the wood around the infrared heater. Incorrect installation can
cause fire. It must be ensured that this hot convecting air is free to escape upwards.
As necessary the adjacent wood must be appropriately protected, e.g. with a fire
ƒ
protection boards, in order to ensure that the wood can reach excessive tempera-
tures.
Do not expose the emitter in the infrared heater to mechanical stresses (shocks,
ƒ
pressure). Do not put a damaged heat emitter into operation!
