11.3 Explanation of the most important menu items
11.3.1 Mode
When the "Time lapse normal" or "Time lapse video" mode is enabled, you cannot use motion detection via
the PIR sensor.
Motion Detection:
In standby mode (i.e. the camera's slide switch is set to "ON"), the camera starts recording or capturing moving
objects via PIR detection. In other words, the camera starts recording video or taking photos when the PIR sensor
detects movement.
Set the desired recording duration. For example, if you select a recording time of 10 seconds, the camera will
only record a moving object in front of it for 10 seconds, even if the object is still moving thereafter.
Time lapse normal:
The camera takes photos and/or videos (depending on the "Photo or Video" setting) in the time interval you have
selected in the menu when activating this mode.
Time lapse video:
The camera takes photos in the time interval you have selected in the menu when activating this mode. Captured
photos are merged into a video. Example: This function is useful if you wish to observe the blooming process of
flowers.
11.3.2 Work Time
This function allows you to set a working time for the camera. The camera remains in standby mode beyond the
selected working period. If the camera start time is before the current time, the setting will take effect on the next day.
If the camera start time is after the current time, the setting takes effect on the same day.
11.3.3 Photo or video
There are three modes to choose from: Photo/Video/Photo + Video. The camera takes videos or photos simultaneous-
ly, depending on the mode (Motion Detection/Interval/Time Lapse), continuous shooting feature and set time interval.
11.3.4 Photo resolution
2MP (1920 x 1080 pixels) / 4MP (2560 x 1440 pixels) / 8MP (3840 x 2160 pixels) / 16MP (5120 x 2880 pixels) /
20MP (6144 x 3456 pixels) / 24MP (6656 x 3744 pixels) / 32/MP (7680 x 4620 pixels)
Select the desired photo resolution. The higher the resolution, the better the photo quality. However, higher photo
quality also increases the file size and takes up more storage space on the memory card.
11.3.5 Video resolution
720p/30 FPS (1280 x 720 pixels) / 1080p/30 FPS (1920 x 1080 pixels) / 2.7K/30 FPS (1920 x 1080 pixels)
The higher the video resolution, the better the video quality. However, higher photo quality also increases the file size
and takes up more storage space on the memory card.
11.3.6 Photo Burst
This feature allows you to set the number of consecutive photos captured by the camera each time it switches to
standby mode.
