11 Configuring the camera
You can configure the camera directly from the menu or via an app. More information can be found in Chapter 13
"Configuring and Operating the Wildlife Camera in the App".
Before configuring the camera, push the camera's on/off slide switch to the "TEST" position.
When the camera display turns on, the camera is ready for configuration.
11.1 How to navigate in the camera menu
Use the six buttons (14) to (19) on the back of the camera to navigate through the camera menu.

Press the "MENU" button to open and close the camera menu.
The "OK" button is used to confirm the setting. You can use this
button to select a menu item you wish to configure and then
confirm your selection. Pressing this button starts and pauses a
video in the gallery.
Press the "PLAY" button to open and close the gallery with photos
and videos.
Use the up arrow button to scroll up in the menu and in the individ-
ual menu items.
You can also use this button to activate the video recording mode.
Use the down arrow button to scroll down in the menu and in the
individual menu items.
You can also use this button to activate the photo capture mode.
Use the "SHOT" to take a photo or video (depending on the set
recording mode). When recording a video, you can pause it by
pressing this button.
