Determining the refractometer value

The principle: A known amount of concentrate and water are mixed, then in the table, the specified
percentage is compared with the measured percentage and a refractometer value is calculated.
This is the way it works:
For the following measurements, you will need:
- two beakers
- a refractometer with pipette
- a scale exact to the gram
Now determine the following as specified below:

Determine the measured %:
1.) Fill the water volume into a beaker according to the table (weigh) (Figure 1).
2.) Add the concentrate amount in the same beaker, until 200 g (mixture amount) is reached (Figure 2).
3.) Mix the mixture well so that a homogeneous mixture is formed (Figure 2).
4.) Calibrate your refractometer with your process water.
5.) Measure the mixture according to the instructions of your refractometer and enter the value in the table
next to measured percentage (Figure 3).
6.) Now carry out all measurements.
7.) After determining the values, calculate the refractometer value as described above.
8.) Now determine the refractometer average value (see above).
