The Commander rehab car seat is a class 1 medical
device.
It is designed to safely transport the physically disabled
and to ensure children are sitting securely in vehicles.
The seat is always fastened using the vehicle's own
three-point seat belt. The five-point positioning harness
in the rehab car seat helps to position and support the
child in an upright sitting position.
The rehab car seat provides additional support to help
the passenger sit securely, stabilises head control,
provides secure seating for the hip area, and a footrest.
In addition, the product has a wide range of accessories
for customised adjustments. Additional accessories
required to support the trunk can be made by authorised
staff and attached to the hook and loop fastener on the
integrated back plate.
Any use that goes above and beyond this does not
comply with the intended use.

INTENDED USERS
The rehab car seat is for children with extreme structural
and / or functional limitations or poor head and torso
posture. It provides a stable, physiological position if a
standard child car seat does not securely support the
child while seated in the vehicle.
RISK ASSOCIATED WITH USE AND

If used properly, risks can be eliminated during use.

ANWENDUNGSBEREICHE
Der Reha-Autositz Commander ist ein Medizinprodukt der
Klasse 1.
Er ist konzipiert für die behindertengerechte Beförderung und
zur Einhaltung einer gesicherten Sitzposition von Kindern in
Kraftfahrzeugen. Die Sicherung des Sitzes erfolgt immer mit
dem fahrzeugeigenen 3-Punkt-Sicherheitsgurt. Der 5-Punkt-
Gurt des Reha-Autositzes dient der Positionierung und Unter-
stützung einer aufrechten Sitzposition des Kindes.
Der Reha-Autositz sorgt für zusätzlichen Halt beim sicheren
Sitzen, Stabilisierung der Kopfkontrolle und stabilen Sitz im Be-
ckenbereich, sowie eine Abstützung im Fußbereich. Zusätzlich
bietet das Produkt umfangreiches Zubehör zur individuellen
Anpassung. Weiteres benötigtes Zubehör zur Thoraxunterstüt-
zung kann von autorisiertem Fachpersonal gefertigt und an der
Klettfläche der integrierten Rückenplatte angebracht werden.
Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Verwendung gilt als
nicht bestimmungsgemäß.
INDIKATION / PATIENTENZIELGRUPPE,
VORGESEHENE ANWENDER
Der Reha-Autositz wird eingesetzt bei Kindern mit starken
strukturellen und / oder funktionellen Einschränkungen oder
Fehlhaltungen im Kopf- und Rumpfbereich. Er sorgt für eine
stabile und physiologische Positionierung, wenn ein handels-
üblicher Kinderautositz nicht ausreichend ist für eine stabile
Sitzhaltung im Fahrzeug.
ANWENDUNGSRISIKEN UND
KONTRAINDIKATION
Bei sachgerechtem Gebrauch können Risiken bei der Anwendung
ausgeschlossen werden. Kontraindikationen sind nicht bekannt.
