10. Thoroughly clean the groove and the contact surface of the built-in shaft surround. Make sure
that the contact surfaces of the seal are free from foreign objects and dirt.
11. Remove the new seal from the packaging, and remove any residues of the mould release
agent.
12. Now place the seal positively into the groove. Ensure that the seal is not twisted.
13. Re-attach the cover's safety cable to the corresponding position in the device head and place
the cover flat on the built-in shaft surround.
14. First tighten the middle and then the outer screws of the cover crosswise with gentle force.
15. Then tighten the middle screws and then the outer screws crosswise to 6 (± 0.5) kgf-cm.
After mounting the cover, perform a leak test.
