2.4.1 Installation of the one-way valve
❖ If your appliance does not have the one-way valve installed at the factory, you
still need to install it. The following figures only show an example of how to
install the one-way valve, as the exhaust air outlet may vary depending on the
model and configuration of the appliance.
❖ The one-way valve consists of two flap parts (a / b). You must install both flap
parts individually in the housing of the exhaust air outlet (c / s. fig. below).

1. Each of the two individual flap parts (a / b) consist of a semicircle including an
axle (d). In the centre of the axle (d) of a flap part is an axle pin (e / s. fig.
below).
2. Insert the axle (d) of a flap part carefully into the corresponding openings (f /
on both sides) in the housing of the exhaust air outlet (c); the axle pin (e) must
point upwards (s. fig. below).
3. Repeat step 2 for the other flap part.
4. Ensure that both parts of the one-way valve are installed properly. The flap
parts must not jam or get caught.
