Pour the equivalent of a glass of water onto

the plate and scrape it with the spatula
provided, pushing residue and liquid towards
the grease evacuation hole.
Warning: never clean the hot plate
with ice cubes; this will create
thermal shock that could buckle
the stainless steel plate.
The persistent brown stain that forms after
*
cooking is called seasoning. It is a natural
chemical reaction that protects the cooking
plate and makes it non-stick.
Waring - do not try to remove the
brown layer to restore the natural
colour of the cooking plate as
food will stick to it.
For deep cleaning, spray white vinegar over
*
the entire stainless steel plate and clean
it using a sponge and the scraper/spatula
provided. The film of grease will remain and
it will no longer be necessary to repeat the
previous steps.
Dry the plate before putting it away or before

using again.
Grease collection tray:
This recipient can recover cooking juices,

whether you want to keep them or throw
them away.
Empty and clean the grease collection tray

with a damp sponge and dish soap. It can
also be cleaned in the dishwasher.
