In case of abnormal use (impact, excessive vibration, or electromagnetic discharge), the
prosthesis will alert you via a series of 10 vibrations, alternating between short and long,
accompanied by an audible signal.
Err on the side of caution, and switch to safety mode. Then check the operation of the device:
if the knee can bend, continue to use it without fear. If the knee remains stiff, contact your
orthopedic prosthetist to repair the default, and use the spare prosthesis.
Battery
A.
Do not wear the prosthesis while charging the battery and respect the usual electrical
safety instructions. Have the charger accessible during charging, to be able to quickly
disconnect it if necessary.
Battery charging temperature: +5°C to +40°C; air humidity: < 93%.
Only charge the battery with the 1P700234-S charger supplied by
PROTEOR.
An unapproved charger may cause prosthesis failures, or an electrocution
risk.
In case of any doubt over this charger (breakage...), do not use it, order a new one from your
certified prosthetist.
This charger is not protected from water splashes
(IP21).
Remove the cap from the connector, and then
connect the charger, cable downward. Plug the
power supply block into the mains (conventional wall
outlet). A vibration will indicate that the charger is
correctly connected.
Disconnecting the charger from the prosthesis or mains will be confirmed by a vibration.
Reclose the cap properly, since there is a risk of magnetization of metal particles, which would
disrupt the connector's connection.
The charge level will be automatically
indicated upon disconnecting the
charger, after a few seconds.
