Safety Information
Products with the symbol of a crossed out wheelie bin with a
single black line underneath, indicates that parts within the
product must be handled in compliance with the WEEE Di-
rective. The entire product, or the WEEE parts, can be sent to
your "Customer Centre" for handling.
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed out
wheelie bin without a single black line underneath. The bat-
tery must be recycled either according to local regulations or
sent to your "Customer Centre" for handling.

The European Regulation (EU) No. 1907/2006 on Registra-
tion, Evaluation, Authorization and restriction of Chemicals
(REACH) defines among other things requirements related to
communication in the supply chain. The information require-
ment applies also to products containing so called Substances
of Very High Concern (the "Candidate List"). On 27 June
2018 lead metal (CAS nr 7439-92-1) was added to the Candi-
date List.
In accordance with the above this is to inform you that cer-
tain electrical and mechanical components in the product
may contain lead metal. This is in compliance with current
substance restriction legislation and based on legit exemp-
tions in the RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU). Lead metal will
not leak or mutate from the product during normal use and
the concentration of lead metal in the complete product is
well below the applicable threshold limit. Please consider lo-
cal requirements on the disposal of lead at product end of
life.

Product specific instructions
Warning / Important
WARNING All locally legislated safety rules regard-
ing installation, operation and maintenance shall be
respected at all times.
• The tool together with any attachments or accessories,
must never be used for anything other than the designed
purpose.
• This product must not be used in explosive atmospheres.
• Only use power sockets.
• When using a suspension yoke, check that it is in good
condition and correctly fastened.
• Be prepared of the reaction force which will occur when
the tool is used.
• Make sure that the tool is in good working order and that
the controller is correctly programmed before use to
avoid unexpected behaviour from the tool which may re-
sult in operator injury.
• Straight and pistol nutrunners are used together with a
torque reaction bar. Please be aware of the rotational di-
rection of the spindle before starting the tool, the reac-
tion force may work in an unexpected direction with risk
of crush injuries.
• Never put your hand near or close to the reaction bar
while the tool is being used.
• Check function of the earth fault protector and ground
loop continuity on regular basis according instructions in
the controller instructions.
• Always keep the controller locked.
• Refer installation and servicing to qualified personnel
only.
• The product does not contain customer servicable or re-
placeable components. Service should only be performed
by Atlas Copco Industrial Technique AB.
