Radiator thermostat II [+M]
Resetting to factory settings
Resetting to factory settings may be necessary, for example, if the device
has already been paired with a system and/or a system change is desired.
You can reset the device to its factory settings as follows:
Remove a battery. Replace the battery while holding ○ ○ on the rotary knob
(D). Make sure that the polarity of the battery is correct. Hold the button
pressed until the status LED (C) rapidly flashes orange or blue and "RES"
appears on the display. Now release the button briefly and press and
hold it again until the LED lights green and the notification on the display
disappears. The device then restarts. Please note that it can take a few
seconds until the thermostat is ready for operation again.
When used with the Bosch Smart Home system
݅ After resetting to factory settings, the status LED should flash blue
approx. every 1.5 seconds. If the device is to be used again on the Bosch
Smart Home system, please follow the installation steps in chapter
"Operation in the Bosch Smart Home system".
݅ When resetting to factory settings, the settings and information are only
lost from the device, but not from the Bosch Smart Home controller.
݅ To re-configure the device, first delete it in the device management
section of the Bosch Smart Home app and then add it again in the usual
pairing process.
When used with a third-party Matter Smart Home system
݅ After resetting to factory settings, the status LED should flash blue
approx. every 1.5 seconds. The device can be immediately paired with
the Matter Smart Home system. Follow the installation instructions of
the system provider.
