Radiator thermostat II [+M]
Operation in the Bosch Smart Home system
Requirements
To operate the radiator thermostat II [+M] on a Bosch Smart Home system,
a successfully set up Bosch Smart Home controller (I or II) and the Bosch
Smart Home app are required.
Pairing process
Start the Bosch Smart Home app and select
– "More"
– "Devices"
– "+ Add device"
݅ After inserting the batteries for the first time or after resetting to factory
settings, the status LED (C) of the radiator thermostat II [+M] flashes
blue every 1.5 seconds. However, it must flash orange for pairing with
the Bosch Smart Home system.
݅ There are two ways to switch the radiator thermostat into the required
mode for pairing on the Bosch Smart Home system.
1. Simply follow the further instructions in the Bosch Smart Home
app. This will prompt you to scan the QR code on the device (or the
included sticker). After scanning, the app detects that the device still
needs to be switched to a different operating mode and does this
automatically.
Attention! The Bluetooth function of the smartphone must be
activated for this!
2. Press and hold the operating button (3) for > 5 seconds. As soon as
the status LED (2) starts flashing orange, the button can be released.
The device is now ready for pairing with your Bosch Smart Home
system.
݅ Attention! Pairing mode is only active for 3 minutes after inserting the
batteries for the first time or after resetting to factory settings. This can
be recognised by the fact that the status LED (C) flashes. If the status
LED (C) no longer flashes regularly, pairing mode has ended. It can be
activated again by pressing ○ ○ , turning in the direction of +/- or by remov-
ing and inserting a battery. Ensure that the battery polarity is correct.
