4.10.14 Setting the measuring unit
Sets an additional, informative measuring unit.
The device is delivered from the factory with the measured
value display in the mg/L (= milligrams of ethanol per liter of
breathing air) and ‰ (= per mill) unit. The MDR requires mg/L
to always be displayed as a unit for the breath alcohol
concentration (see fold-out page B: 4 and 5).
The configurable, informative measuring unit (from software
version 2.1.9) can be selected or hidden. Depending on the
additional unit, the relevant conversion factor between breath
alcohol and blood alcohol concentration is displayed (see
fold-out page B: 4, 6, and 8).
The following combinations of measuring units are possible:
– mg/L + ‰
– mg/L + %
– mg/L + g/L
– mg/L
The selection of the configurable, informative measuring
unit is stored in a PIN-protected area.
The PIN upon delivery is: 7 0 0 0
