Miele recommends connecting the machine via a wall socket with an all-pole means of deactivation and interlock in accordance with
IEC 60309 and IEC 60947 so that electrical safety checks can be carried out easily.
For hard-wired machines, an isolator in accordance with IEC 60947 must be installed.
The wall socket or isolator must remain accessible at all times once the machine has been installed.
To increase safety, Miele recommends installation of a residual current device (RCD). Only use residual current devices that are sensit-
ive to universal current (type B).
