Recharge the accumulators in time, before they are discharged fully, otherwise the accumulators

STARTING

1. Insert the charged battery into battery holder.
2. Insert the safety push-button - only HECHT 5035/5038.
3. Insert the safety key (fig. 8C) - only HECHT 5043 - into slot and switch it to the ON position.
Make sure it snaps into place. Without completely plugged key the machine will not start.

4. Press the safety push-button (fig. 16A).
5. Standing behind the mower, pull the switch handle (fig. 16B) and keep it in grasp. The motor
starts. Release the safety button (fig. 16C).
6. Release the switch handle to stop the motor and blade quickly if necessary.

Do not touch the rotating blade.
• Start the motor carefully according to instructions and with body parts, especially feet well
away from the blade.
• Do not tilt the lawn mower when starting the motor. Start the mower on a level surface,

If the tool stops during use, the following may be the causes:
A. The maximum current draw of the battery has been exceeded, causing it to automatically
stop powering the tool. Release the switch buttons to reset the tool and pull the switch
buttons to resume operation.
B. Excessive temperatures will cause the battery to stop powering the tool. Feel the battery
pack, If it is too warm, allow it to cool down.
If the tool still dose not work, recharge the battery.
