• Familiarise yourself with the product by means of the
operating manual before using for the first time.
• With accessories as well as wearing parts and re-
placement parts use only original parts. Spare parts
can be obtained from your specialist dealer.
• When ordering please provide our article number as
well as type and year of manufacture for the product.

The product and the packaging material are not
children's toys! Do not let children play with plas-
tic bags, films or small parts! There is a danger of
choking or suffocating!
8. Assembly / Before commissioning
ATTENTION! Always switch off the device and discon-
nect it from the power supply before carrying out any
work on the device. Pull out the safety key (6) to pre-
vent unintentional activation.
8.1
Charging the battery (Fig. 2 + 3)
1.
Connect the battery charger and the device (Fig.
2).
2.
Check that the mains voltage indicated on the type
plate matches the mains voltage present.
3.
Plug the charging unit into the mains socket, the
charge indicator (Fig. 3 / item 5) flashes green.
4.
The battery is being charged. The charging time
is ca. 1 hours with an empty battery. During the
charging process, the battery in the device may
heat up slightly, but this is normal.
5.
When the battery is fully charged, the LED lights
up green permanently (Fig. 3 / item 5).
- If it is not possible to charge the battery, please
check whether the mains voltage is available at
the socket.
- If it is still not possible to charge the battery,
please send the complete device with battery
charger to our customer service.
In the interest of a long battery life, you should ensure
that the battery is recharged in good time.
This is certainly necessary if you notice that the per-
formance of the device is decreasing. Never discharge
the battery completely. This will lead to a defect in the
battery!
9.
Commissioning
m ATTENTION!
Always make sure the device is fully assembled
before commissioning!
9.1
Safety key (6) (Fig. 4)
The device is protected against unintentional activa-
tion by the safety key (6).
9.2
Switching on the device (Fig. 7):
1.
First insert the safety key (6).
2.
Then press the lock (8) (on the right or left of the
device) and keep it pressed.
3.
Note: The device is suitable for both right-handed
and left-handed use.
4.
Press the start button (7) simultaneously to start
the device.
5.
After switching on the machine, the lock (8) can be
released. The device continues to run.
9.3
Switching off the device
1.
Release the start button (7) to switch off the de-
vice.
2.
Take the device out of cutting range before switch-
ing it off.
3.
After finishing the work, remove the safety key (6)
(Fig. 4) to prevent accidental activation.
m Attention!
After switching off, the blade continues to move for a
few seconds.
9.4
Replacing the cutting blade attachments (Fig. 5)
m Wear protective gloves! Pull out the safety key to
prevent unintentional activation.
1.
Press the release button (9) on the blade housing.
2.
Pull the blade slightly downwards and remove it
from the housing.
3.
When reinserting, make sure that the teeth fit cor-
rectly.
4.
Reinsert the desired blade and push it towards the
housing until it engages audibly.
5.
Check that the cutting blade is correctly seated.
9.5
Holding and guiding the product
m Always hold the product by the grip area when
working.
- Make sure you are in a safe working position.
- Do not hold your other hand near the blades.
