Keep these safety instructions in a safe place.
m Residual risks
The machine has been built according to the state-of-
the-art and the recognised technical safety require-
ments. However, individual residual risks can arise
during operation.
• Risk of injury for fingers and hands due to the cut-
ting tool running with improper guidance.
• Hazard due to electrical power with the use of im-
proper electrical connection cables.
• Danger to health due to the hedge trimmer if hair is
long or if wearing loose clothing. Wear personal pro-
tective equipment such as a hair net and close-fit-
ting work clothing.
• Furthermore, despite all precautions having been
met, some non-obvious residual risks may still re-
main.
• Residual risks can be minimised if the "safety in-
structions" and the "Proper use" are observed along
with the whole of the operating instructions.
