Clothing and Equipment
WARNING
■ Long hair can be pulled into the weeder during
operation. This may result in serious injury to
the user.
► Tie up and confine long hair above your
shoulders.
■ Objects can be thrown at high speed during
operation. This may result in injury to the user.
► Wear close-fitting safety glasses.
Suitable protective glasses tested to
standard EN 166 or national stand‐
ards and bearing the corresponding
label are available from retailers.
► Wear long pants made of robust material.
■ Dust can be whipped up during operation.
Whipped up dust can damage the respiratory
passages and cause allergic reactions.
► If dust is generated: Wear a dust respirator
mask.
■ Unsuitable clothing can get caught on wood,
undergrowth and in the weeder. Users not
wearing suitable clothing may be seriously
injured.
► Wear close-fitting clothing.
► Remove scarves and jewelry.
■ The user can come into contact with the
blades during operation. This may result in
serious injury to the user.
► Wear robust footwear.
► Wear steel-toed safety boots.
► Wear long pants made of robust material.
■ The user can come into contact with the
blades during cleaning or maintenance work.

Weeder

result in serious injury to bystanders, children
and animals and damage to property.
