Intended Use
The STIHL RGA 140 weeder is designed to
remove weeds and mow grass.
The weeder may be used in the rain.
The weeder is powered by a STIHL AP battery or
a STIHL AR battery.

■ Batteries not approved by STIHL for the
weeder may cause fires and explosions. Per‐

Requirements for the user
WARNING
■ Users who have not received instruction can‐
not recognize and assess the dangers of the
weeder and the battery. The user or other per‐
sons may sustain serious or fatal injuries.
► Read and understand the User Man‐
ual and keep it in a safe place.
► If the weeder or battery is passed on to
another person: Always give them the User
Manual.
► Make sure that the user meets the following
conditions:
– The user is rested.
– The user has good hearing and eye‐
sight and the necessary physical and
mental fitness to operate and work with
the weeder or batteries. If the user is
able to operate the equipment but is
physically, hearing, visually or mentally
impaired, the user may only work with
the equipment under the supervision of
