The most common causes for false alarms are dust
deposits/ dust build-up. Clean your smoke detec-
tors as described in the section "Maintenance" to
rule this out as a source of error as much as possi-
ble. If you cannot remedy the problem in this way,
please contact the service partner.
Smartwares accepts no liability for direct and/ or
indirect losses or damages of any kind which can
be traced back to an absent alarm signal from the
smoke detector in the event that smoke develops
or in the event of a fire.
The alarm does not sound when the test
button is pressed.

Replace the smoke detector.
The smoke detector "beeps" in 43 second
intervals and the red LED starts flashing.

The battery level is low. Replace the product as
soon as possible.
