Installation steps

Firstly, attach the base plate using the supplied

screws and wall plugs to the room ceiling.

Ensure that you do not damage any electrical ca-
bles when you drill into the wall.
Then carefully attach the smoke detector (see sec-
tion "Activating the device") to the base plate

(see Fig. A). Now guide the two catches of the

base plate into the recesses of the smoke de-

tector and turn the smoke detector clockwise until
you hear it click into place.
After assembling the smoke detector, press the Test
button to verify it is working properly (also see
2
section "Activating the device"). The red LED

will then flash every 10 seconds for a few minutes
until the smoke detector returns to standard mode.
When working properly, the red LED will flash
1
every 344 seconds (no alarm sounds).
