Battery life

The smoke detector will emit a warning when the bat-
tery is low. The warning will sound continuously in 43
second intervals. In addition, the red LED
every 43 seconds. The battery has a life of approx. 10
years. When the battery is low, the product must be re-
placed.

Maintenance

Testing functionality

We recommend testing each smoke detector every
month or after a prolonged absence to ensure it functions
correctly.
During the test, stand at an arm's length from the
smoke detector to avoid hearing damage.
