8. Unpacking
• Open the packaging and carefully remove the prod-
uct.
• Remove the packaging material, as well as the pack-
aging and transport safety devices (if present).
• Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
• Check the product and accessory parts for transport
damage. In the event of complaints the carrier must
be informed immediately. Later claims will not be
recognised.
• If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the
warranty period.

Before commissioning
9.1. Assembling the additional handle
1.
Loosen the star screw (12) on the additional han-
dle (6).
2.
Unfold the additional handle (6) and attach it to the
telescopic handle (4).
3.
Close the additional handle (6) again and secure it
by fastening the star screw (12).
9.2. Fitting/attaching the shoulder strap
1.
Hook the shoulder strap into the lug (8).
2.
Adjust the shoulder strap to your size so that the
lug (8) is at hip height when hooked in.
9.3 Fitting the cutter bar to the telescopic handle
1.
Remove the packaging film and plastic cap from
the telescopic handle (4).
2.
Loosen the star screw (5) on the telescopic han-
dle.
3.
Insert the telescopic handle (4) into the opening
on the connecting piece (13) and turn until the pin
engages.
4.
Now secure the telescopic handle (4) by fastening
the star screw (5).
9.4. Adjusting the cutting angle
The cutting angle can be adjusted in 10 steps.
1.
Hold the handle on the cutter bar (3) firmly and
press the two locking levers (13) at the same time
to release the fixation of the knife bar.
2.
Now tilt the cutter bar (1) to the desired position.
3.
Release the locking lever (13) and the cutter bar
(1) engages.
