This appliance is designed for shortterm use. After using it for 6 minutes,
allow it to cool down completely (min. 10 minutes). This prevents motor
damage caused by overheating. Allow the appliance to cool down adequately if
the housing becomes too hot. Wait until it has cooled off completely before using
it again. Do not overload the appliance.
WARNINg OF PROPeRtY DAMAge!
Do not operate the appliance with an empty mixing bowl (14). This may
damage the appliance. Never operate the appliance without the lid (9).
The lid must always be firmly attached to the motor housing during use. Do not
use the appliance to process extremely large or hard foods/ingredients to prevent
damage to the appliance and attachment.
WARNINg! Risk of burns!
Allow hot liquids to cool to room temperature before pouring them into
the mixing bowl. Never pour extremely hot liquids into the mixing bowl.
Do not use the appliance with hot liquids or hot oil/grease.
NOteS:
• The appliance has a builtin circuit breaker. This circuit breaker interrupts the
power supply if the motor housing is lifted before or during operation.
• Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance or motor housing. Position
the power cable so that it can't be unplugged inadvertently.
• Before you lift the motor housing upwards, make sure that the attachment won't
come in contact with the mixing bowl. If necessary, switch the appliance on,
let it run for a few seconds and switch it off again, so that the attachment on
the front of the motor housing can stop.
• To get the best results when you blend / mix solid foods and liquids, add the
solid foods to the bowl incrementally in small portions instead of adding a large
volume at once. Always start with a small amount of liquid. Add more liquid
gradually through the feeder opening on the lid.
