With this order, you work safely with the
tool and achieve a good result:
1. Clamp the workpiece. Use a clamping
device for small workpieces.
2. Draw a line to specify the direction in
which the saw blade is guided.
3. Hold the device securely by the
handle.
4. Set the stroke rate.
5. Set the stroke strength.
6. Turn the device on.
7. Wait until the device has reached its
full stroke rate.
8. Place the footplate on the workpiece.
9. Slowly move the device along the
marked line, pressing the footplate
firmly down onto the workpiece.
10. Do not apply too much pressure in the
cutting direction. Let the device do the
work.
11. Before shutting down the device, switch
it off and wait for it to come to a com-
plete standstill.
Inserting and removing the
battery
 WARNING! Risk of injury due to
unintentional start-up. Only insert the re-
chargeable battery into the device once
the device is fully prepared for use.
NOTICE! Risk of damage! An incorrect
battery can damage the device and bat-
tery.
Inserting the battery (Fig. C)
1. Push the battery (16) along the guide
into the battery holder (6).
You will hear the battery click into
place.
Removing the battery (Fig. C)
1. Press and hold the battery release (15)
on the battery (16).
2. Pull the battery out of the battery hold-
er (6).

Switching on and off

Requirements
• Battery inserted.
• Stroke rate set.
Switching on
1. Press the unlock button (2).
2. Press and hold the On/off switch (3).
The LED work light (12) lights up.
3. Wait until the device has reached its
full stroke rate.
You can guide the device with the base-
plate (8) against the workpiece.
Switching off
1. To turn it off, release the on/off switch
(3).
The LED work light (12) goes out.
2. Do not pull the saw blade out of the
cut until it has come to a standstill.
3. Remove the rechargeable battery (16)
from the device if you are leaving the
device unattended or if you have fin-
ished working.

Transport

Information on transporting the device:
• Switch off the device and remove the
rechargeable battery. Make sure that
all moving parts have come to a com-
plete stop.
• Remove the attachment tool.
• Always carry the device by the handle.
Cleaning, maintenance
and storage
 WARNING! Electric shock! Protect
yourself when performing maintenance or
cleaning work. Turn off the device.
You should have any repair and mainten-
ance work that is not described in these
instructions carried out by our Service
