After finishing the welding work, first separate the device connector plug from the power genera-
tor, then switch this off.
5 Function of the Unit
5.1 Turning on the welding device
On the left side of the welding device, there is a green main switch for turning the welding device
on and off. After it is turned on, the following screen appears on the display:
Underneath the display, there are four buttons for changing the basic settings of the ROFUSE
TURBO S and manually entering the welding parameters. Each button is assigned to the box
above it in the display. When entering the parameters, the right-hand button is for confirming the
set parameters. The left button is for exiting the menu again. The two middle buttons are for set-
ting the values within the menu. All selected welding parameters must be entered and confirmed
during the welding process. Otherwise, the software does not move to the next menu item and
the welding process cannot be started. In the welding protocol, only the selected parameters are
recorded. Parameters that were not selected are not returned in the welding protocol.
5.2 Setting the welding device
Pressing the left button opens the basic settings menu. In this menu, the two middle buttons can
be used to select the following submenus:
1. Date/Time
2. Display contrast
3. Button tones
4. Language
5. Parameters
6. Maintenance
and to set their parameters.
The two middle buttons are needed for this. Confirm the set values with the right-hand button.
After the basic settings are made, use the left basic settings to go back to the home screen. This
screen is also for starting welding by entering the welding parameters.
5.3 Setting the date/time
 After turning on the welding device, press the left button once, so that the Date/Time setting
appears on the display.
