NOTE: the ring nut (1) adjustment requires removal
of the air manifold and use of a specifi c pin wrench.
- Loosen the locking screw of the ring nut (2)- Loos-
en the locking screw of the ring nut (2)
- By using a hook wrench or an aluminium punch
turn the adjusting ring nut (1) to the desired po-
sition by reloading or not the spring in relation to
your weight and riding style.
- Tighten the locking screw of the ring nut.
The shock absorber is equipped with a 5 mm Allen
key for adjusting its extension. To obtain a softer
braking turn the Allen screw counter-clockwise; act
inversely to achieve harder braking.
ADJUSTMENT DUMPER PRELOAD
("Performance" models)
The basic setting of the suspension is done by FAN-
TIC MOTOR. If different use is required, the setting
may be customised.
It is advisable to wait for the engine to be com-
pletely cold before making changes.
Adjust the spring pre load according to the condi-
tions of use of the vehicle.
Do not force rotation of the adjusting devices
beyond the limit (in either direction) to avoid
possible damage.
The settings for racing use are recommended at
the time of organised competitions or sporting
events to be held on circuits cut offW from road
traffi c and with the approval of the authorities hav-
ing jurisdiction.
NOTE: The ring nut adjustment (1) requires the re-
moval of the air manifold and the use of a specifi c
sector wrench.
- Loosen the locking ring nut (2) using the sector
wrench.
- Using a hook wrench or an aluminium punch,
turn the adjusting ring (1) to the desired position,
reloading or not the spring in relation to the weight
and riding style.
- Tighten the retaining ring nut (2) again.
