Ein hilfreiches Zubehör für den Einbau von Lokde-
codern ist das Viessmann Lokdecoder-Einbauset
(Art.-Nr. 6819). Es enthält Klebepads, Schrumpf-
schlauchstücke, passende Kabel, Lötzinn und
eine Lötanleitung.

3.1 Decoder 5241: Einbau in Loks
mit NEM 651-Schnittstelle
Beachten Sie das Anschlusschema in Abb. 3.
- Öffnen Sie die Lok und entfernen Sie den Brü-
ckenstecker aus der Schnittstellenbuchse der Lok.
- Stecken Sie den NEM 651-Stecker des Deco-
ders in die Schnittstellenbuchse der Lok.
Kleben Sie in der Nähe befindliche Metallteile mit
Isolierband ab.
3.2 Decoder 5240: Einbau in Loks ohne
NEM 651-Schnittstelle
Zum Einbau in Loks ohne Schnittstellenbuchse
verwenden Sie bitte den Decoder mit Anschluss-
kabeln (Art.-Nr. 5240). Beachten Sie unbedingt
die Belegung der Anschlüsse (Tabelle oben) und
die Abb. 3.

Useful accessory for installing locomotive decod-
ers is the Viessmann installation set for locomo-
tive decoders (item-No. 6819). It contains adhe-
sive pads, shrink sleeves, suitable wires, solder
and instructions for soldering.

3.1 Decoder 5241: Installation in
locomotives with NEM 651 socket
Please observe the wiring connections in fig. 3.
- Remove the housing and also the bridge plug
from the interface socket.
- Insert the NEM 651 plug into the socket.
Insulate all metal parts close to the decoder.
3.2 Decoder 5240: Installation in
locomotives without NEM 651 socket
Please use the decoder item-No. 5240 with con-
nection cables but without plug for installation in
locomotives without NEM socket. Observe the
contact configuration as per the table below and
fig 3.
