3.1 Assembly

I. Minimum distance of the sensor body to
other surfaces
Ensure that there is unimpeded access for subsequent calibration.
The mounting must be secure and low-vibration.
Avoid direct sunlight.
Make sure that the medium flows correctly through and around the sensor.
Maintain a minimum distance from the sensor to the tube wall when installing in pipework, as
described in Fig. 1.
Fit the sensor into a suitable bypass fitting, as described in the operating instructions for the
bypass fitting.
