Lokomotive nicht möglich. Die Lok Konfigu-
ration kann in diesem Fall nicht ausgeführt
werden. Eine analoge Lok wird im Display mit
dem Bild eines Analogreglers dargestellt. Diese
Funktion ist auch an Analogfahrreglern nutzbar.
WICHTIGER HINWEIS
Ein hochfrequentes Pfeifen analoger Lokomotiven auf
dem Digitalgleis wird durch die besondere Form der
Digitalspannung verursacht. Sie ist für die Elektronik
der Lokomotive jedoch prinzipiell unschädlich. (Sehen
sie hierzu in der Anleitung des Herstellers nach.)
4.5 Lok konfigurieren
Legen Sie in der Lok Konfiguration den
Funktionsumfang Ihrer Lokomotiven fest.
Dazu gehören zum Beispiel Anzahl der
Fahrstufen, die Betriebsart, serielle bzw.
parallele Funktionsauslösung oder das Lokbild.
Durch langes drücken der Taste M2 gelan-
gen Sie in das Lok Konfigurationsmenü.
4.5.1. Einstellung der Fahrstufen
Nachdem Sie die Lok Konfiguration aufgerufen
haben befinden Sie sich in der Fahrstufenkon-
figuration. Mit M2 wählen Sie zwischen 14D,
28D und 128D Fahrstufen. Das D steht für DCC-
Betrieb. Bestätigen Sie anschließend Ihre Wahl
mit M3 um zum nächsten Menü zu gelangen.
Bei MZS III sind nur 14+28 Fahrstufen möglich.

at the same time! This feature is also available
with Navigators connected to some analog
throttles (e.g. LGB 51070 or PIKO 35002).
IMPORTANT NOTE
Analog locomotives will have a high-frequency whistle
effect caused by the DCC voltage on the track. This is
usually harmless for electronics and motor. (You may
want to check the locomotives manual for more details
or contact the manufacturer for more information).
4.5 Loco Configuration
The loco configuration sets all the loco specific
decoder settings such as the number of speed
steps, the operation mode, serial or paral-
lel functions and the loco picture. Enter the
configuration mode holding M2 for a moment.
4.5.1. Setting the Speed Steps
Entering the loco configuration will start with the
speed step setting. Use M2 to select between
14D, 28D, 128D (D stands for DCC operation).
Confirm your selection with M3 to go to the
next step. MTS III only supports 14 or 28 speed
steps.
