The liquid temperature must not exceed 40°C.
The pump is designed for operation at ambient temperatures
from -20°C to + 40°C..
A shut-off valve must be installed between the pump and the
tank.
In potentially explosive atmospheres and when conveying flam-
mable only use explosion-proof electric motors with approval for
category 2 (ZONE 1) or suitable compressed air motors.
Observe EC-Type-Examination Certificate of the motors.

The used hoses or pipelines must be sufficiently conductive (see
TRbF 131, part 2).
The installation and operation must comply with the relevant
Health & Safety Regulations. (In the Federal Republic of Ger-
many these are "TRbF" and also "BG Chemie").
Observe internal instructions (explosion protection documenta-
tion).
Observe the industrial safety regulation.
Avoid dry running at all costs by constant monitoring by the
operating personnel or suitable dry-running protection devices
such as flow monitors.
To prevent idling on the suction side, use a level monitor for the
suction side tank or a flow monitor
Avoid operation with closed suction side.
Observe the Technical Guidelines for "Flammable Liquids"
(TRbF) and the explosion protection guidelines of the Employer's
Liability Insurance Association of the Chemical Industry (BG
Chemie) during installation and operation.
