4. Use the 'minus' sensor 16 to reduce the
cooking time to 8 minutes.
5. Touch the timer sensor 15 once again.
The cooking time indicator and the tim-
er indicator are now no longer flashing;
however the dot to the right of the heating
indicator for the cooking zone will flash.

The timer indicator will now count down the
minutes until the cooking zone is switched off.
A signal tone will sound once the set cooking
time has elapsed, and the cooking zone will
switch itself off automatically.
Set the cooking time limit for
several cooking zones
You can set independent cooking time limits
for all 4 cooking zones. The individual cook-
ing times may differ in length.
Example: You wish to cook food on the front
right cooking zone 3 at level 8 for 5 minutes
and you wish to cook another food on the
back left cooking zone 1 for 13 minutes at
level 5.
1. Set the cooking time for the first cooking
zone as described in section 'setting the
cooking time limit for a cooking zone'.
Notice: It doesn't matter which cooking
zone you apply this setting to for the first
time.
2. Set the cooking time for the other cooking
zone in the same way.
Using the timer/cooking time limit function
The dot to the right of the level indicator
for the front right cooking zone 3 is now
flashing, and the cooking time set up
for this cooking zone (5 minutes) will be
counted down. The dot to the right next to
the cooking zone 1 to the left and rear is
not flashing.
If the cooking time of the front right cook-
ing zone 3 has elapsed and the cooking
zone is switched off, a signal tone will be
heard, the dot to the right, next to the indi-
cator for the back left cooking zone, 1 be-
gins to flash and the remaining cooking
time of cooking zone 1 – here: 8 minutes
– is counted down. On the cooking zone 3
at the front right, the residual heat indica-
tor X is now flashing.
Changing the cooking time limit
To change the cooking time limit of a cooking
zone,
• proceed as described in section 'setting
the cooking time limit for a cooking zone':
Readjust the cooking time.
