Do not attempt to replace it. Clean and perform
maintenance when the machine is cool, preferably
while wearing protective gloves.
7.2 Cleaning the machine
Clean the steam spout and hot water dispenser after
each use. Clean the filter holder and filters. Clean the
cup warming grille and the discharge basin grille
7.3 Scheduled inspections
Each week, clean the group gasket using the special
brush supplied.
8. DECOMMISSIONING
8.1 Temporary
Clean the coffee group, the nozzle and the seals.
Empty and clean the water reservoir and the spill
basin.
Close the main switch and remove the power plug
from the mains.
Perform the daily maintenance operations.
Store the machine in a dry environment, protected
from the elements and with limited access (avoid
leaving it in the reach of minors or unfit persons).
8.2 Definitive
Whenever it is decided to take the machine out of
service or dispose of it as scrap, proceed as follows:
Cut the power cable.
Pack the machine in cardboard or other
packing material and send it to authorised
personnel for its disposal or second-hand sale).
9. PROBLEMS AND REMEDIES
If the power cable is damaged, contact an authorised
service centre to have it replaced as it requires the use
of a dedicated tool.
The disposable materials used for processing or
maintenance, if non-biodegradable or pollutants,
should be placed in separate containers and sent to
special waste disposal centres.
