ERROR
If the heat pump is switched off by a safety device or function,
the message ERROR is displayed. The heat pump switches to
"Reduced emergency mode". The heat pump operates at a re-
duced temperature (heating and DHW). The additional heat
generator (electric emergency/auxiliary heater, boiler) is acti-
vated where available.
Set temperatures
Description
Heating
Reduced by 7 °C
Domestic hot water
Reduced to 35 °C
Notice
When the fault has been remedied and the safety de-
vice has enabled the heat pump again, the heat pump
starts automatically.
The following actions are possible to suppress the
fault:
- Automatic acknowledgement
- Manual acknowledgement
Manual acknowledgement will allow the heat pump
to restart only if the fault is no longer present on the
safety device.
f Call your qualified contractor.
f On the start screen, press the ESC button.
f Press the selection button, to acknowledge the fault.
f Return to the start screen by pressing the ESC button.

LOCKOUT
In the event of a "LOCK" fault, the heat pump switches to "re-
duced emergency mode". The heat pump is shut down.
If an additional heat generator (electric emergency/auxilia-
ry heater, boiler) is available, this can be activated. Once the
lockout function is no longer active, an automatic restart is
possible.
The "Emergency mode" operating modes can lead to higher
heating costs as heating is then carried out solely by the addi-
tional heat generator (if installed).
f Call your qualified contractor.
f On the start screen, press the ESC button.
f Press the selection button.
f Set the heat pump to Emergency mode by turning the
selection button.
f Save the settings by pressing the selection button.
f Return to the start screen by pressing the ESC button.
