7. Messages
WARNING Electrocution
ERROR messages may be remedied only by a body
authorised by us.
f Ensure the heat pump is disconnected from the
power supply before starting work.
f Secure the heat pump against reconnection.
Improper alteration of settings by third parties will
result in the cancellation of all warranties and guar-
antees.
Messages are displayed on the device. Above the ESC button
appears "INFO" and an error message.

1 Emergency mode (reduced set values) is launched by the
controller whenever a fault occurs.
2 The controller identifies three types of fault
ALARM
ERROR
LOCKOUT
3 When "INFO" is displayed, the controller has generated a
fault message.
7.1 ALARM
The ALARM message appears in the event of a faulty sensor. An
exception to this is a failure in the frost protection sensor. If the
fault message appears for a third time, the heat pump is locked.
The heat pump continues to operate in emergency mode.

Sensor faults can be remedied only by your qualified
contractor or customer support.
f Call your qualified contractor.
f On the start screen, press the ESC button.
f Press the selection button.
f Set the heat pump to "Emergency mode normal" by turn-
ing the selection button.
f Save the settings by pressing the selection button.
f Return to the start screen by pressing the ESC button.
