Settings
f On the start screen, press the selection button.

5.11 Setting heat pump operating mode
Operating mode Description
0: Off The heat pump is switched off. If there is a heat
demand, the next heat generator (e.g. electric
auxiliary heater) is requested.
You should not switch the heat pump off except
in an emergency.
1: Automatic The heat pump operates in automatic mode.
The heat pump is switched on and off automati-
cally according to the heat demand.

5.12 Setting the emergency/auxiliary heater
operating mode
Operating mode Description
0: Off Auxiliary heater OFF.
The auxiliary heater is unavailable for backup
heating (except for frost protection /defrost back-
up)
1: Automatic The auxiliary heater operates in automatic mode.
It is switched on and off automatically according
to the heat demand.
4: Manual mode heat- Auxiliary heater heats according to a fixed set
ing flow temperature (09-020). Please note: This set-
ting can lead to higher heating costs and should
only be used briefly for commissioning /test
purposes.
An emergency/auxiliary heater (electric heater, oil/gas boiler)
can be integrated into the heating system.

5.13 Setting date and time
Notice
The system changes automatically to wintertime on
the last Sunday in October. The system changes auto-
matically to summertime on the last Sunday in March.
If a touchscreen programming unit with internet con-
nection (available as an accessory) is installed, the time
of day can be updated from a time server.
f On the start screen, press the selection button.
f Open the menu.

f Set the correct value by turning the selection button.
f Save the settings by pressing the selection button.
f Return to the start screen by pressing the ESC button a

5.14 Setting master data
You can set master data (text) on the control unit.
- Name of plant operator
- Name of installer
- Name of planner [design engineer]
f On the start screen, press the selection button.
f Open the menu.

f Turn the selection button to the left until the "<" character
appears next to the text.
f Delete letters and numbers by pressing the selection
button.
f Select letters and numbers by turning the selection but-
ton clockwise.
f Confirm the character by pressing the selection button.
f Repeat until the required text is shown on the display.
f Press the ESC button.
f Save the settings by pressing the selection button.
f Return to the start screen by pressing the ESC button a
number of times.
5.15 Heat-up program
Only one heating circuit can be started for screed drying on
each controller. The screed drying process uses a ramping
function with rising and falling flow temperatures.
1. Start of the screed drying program
The heating circuit pump is switched on when the system is
started up. After 5 minutes, the flow temperature is measured.
