OPERATION
Settings
The measured value is saved as the set start and end temper-
ature.
2. Heat-up phase
The set flow value increases in the heat-up phase with an ad-
justable ramp. During this process, the set value increases by
a value every hour, provided that the actual value has reached
the set value within this hour. If the set value is not reached,
it is not increased by the selected value until the actual value
has reached the set value.
3. Steady-state phase
If the set maximum temperature is reached, the set value re-
mains in the steady-state phase for the set period of time.
4. Cooling phase
After the steady-state phase, the flow temperature is reduced
in accordance with the selected down ramp until the set value
reaches the original start value.
5. Ending the screed drying program
The program can be ended manually at any time. The program
ends automatically after the saved set start and end tempera-
ture is reached or after the set program time has elapsed. The
program terminates after 30 days at the latest.
Behaviour in the event of power failure
Heat-up phase: in the event of a power failure in the heat-up
phase, the program is always restarted, and the original start
value is retained.
Steady-state phase: in the event of a power failure in the
steady-state phase, the maximum temperature is maintained
and the failure time is added to the steady-state phase.
Cooling phase: If there is a power cut during the cooling phase,
when it is switched back on the actual flow value is measured
and the temperature is reduced according to the set ramp from
that point.

The settings for set value increase and the steady-state
phase must be set by the installer in consultation with
the screed contractor.
Incorrect settings can cause damage to the screed.

When the heat-up program is active, the following operating
statuses are displayed:
- 16: Heat-up phase, drying program
- 17: Steady-state phase, drying program
- 18: Cool-down phase, drying program
- 19: Drying program ended
5.16 Manual defrosting
Air source heat pumps have a built-in defrost system that de-
frosts the evaporator when outside temperatures are low.

Start the function only after a defrost fault or when
you are instructed to do so by authorised personnel.
Frequent starting can adversely affect the function of
the heat pump.

f Once manual defrosting has ended, reset the op-
erating mode to "0: Automatic".
f On the start screen, press the selection button.
