2.1. Preparation

Connect the IP camera to a 100 Mbit Ethernet LAN
▸
Power supply via Power over Ethernet (PoE)
Connection via Ethernet
The IP camera is set up as a DHCP client, i.e. it
obtains its IP address from a DHCP server. Via
Axis Camera Management Software, Behnke
IP video software or in the DHCP server can
be used to find the existing cameras in the

network.
The camera's factory default IP address is:
192.168.0.90
2.2. Scope of applications
1. Using the IP camera with a PC and the Behnke
IP video software ▸ Please have a look at the
separate instructions on IP video software
configuration. IP video Software and the cor-
responding manuals can be found here:

2. Use in video management systems ▸
Follow the instructions for your existing
video management system.

Where the camera is used without connection to a Behnke SIP door intercom system, the camera requires class 1 PoE.
Where the camera is used in conjunction with a Behnke SIP intercom station, PoE class 0 is required to operate the SIP
intercom station.

browser
Accessing the video feed:

Additional options can be found withing the
documentation on the VAPIX interface provided

Please note that your web browser needs to
support the corresponding video formats. It may
be necessary to contact your network adminis-
trator.
Attention: Not suitable for permanent video
display.
