8. Maintenance
8.1 Maintenance and care
Clean all components with a slightly moist cloth; avoid using clea-
ning agents, abrasives and solvents. Remove the battery(ies) prior
to extended storage. Store the device in a clean, dry area.
8.2 Calibration
The measuring instrument must be calibrated and checked regu-
larly to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results. We
recommend a calibration interval of one year.
9. Troubleshooting
Symptom
The device is not
working.
10. Guarantee
A legal warranty period of twelve months from the date of
purchase/date of invoice applies to our devices for commercial
customers.
Claims
If you wish to file a claim under warranty, please return the com-
plete device and your invoice to our logistics centre in Berka, pos-
tage paid, or send it to one of our authorised service centres. We
request that you contact us beforehand by calling our free STORCH
service hotline on 0800 7 86 72 47.
Remedy
Make sure the battery is sufficiently
charged and has been inserted correctly.
Replace the battery if needed.
