Safety recommendations
Electric current is dangerous, and it is necessary to exercise due caution while working with electric current. The device
may be operated solely by trained personnel. The device may be dangerous if operated by unqualifi ed persons, which
may be a cause of an electric shock. In case of any doubts related to the operation of the device, do not commence work
and consult a qualifi ed electrician.
Do not exceed the range of measurement of the device, since may be a cause of an electric shock.
Before you proceed to work with the device, check whether it is not damaged. It is prohibited to work with a damaged
device. A damaged device should be replaced or sent for repair to an authorised service centre. It is prohibited to repair
or modify the device on one's own.
The point of the device has a form of a point of a plane screwdriver, but is it recommended to use the device solely for
the purpose of measurements, and tasks involving screws should be executed with appropriate tools, for example an
insulated screwdriver.
Work with the indicator
The indicator permits to realise two kinds of measurements: contact and inductive.
The contact measurement
Place the point of the device on a non insulated element which conducts alternating current. Place a fi nger at the fi eld
which is indicated as „Test kontaktowy". A symbol of a fl ash of lightning will be displayed as well as the value of the
measured voltage. The indicator does not indicate an exact value of voltage, but its range. The available values are the
following: 12, 36, 55, 110 and 220 V. The indicator always displays the highest range of the measured voltage and all
the lower ranges. For example, in case the value of the measured voltage is approximately 55 V, a symbol of a fl ash
of lightning will be displayed as well as the following values: 12, 36 and 55 V. Indication of the given range is already
visible from a voltage amounting to approximately 70% of the range. This is due to the fact that the displayed value is
the eff ective current.
Inductive measurement
Place the point of the device on the insulation of the element which conducts alternating current. Place a fi nger at the fi eld
which is indicated as „Test indukcyjny". A symbol of a fl ash of lightning should be displayed, and if it is not, it means the
element is not live or the measurement range of the indicator has been exceeded. It is recommended to realise additional
measurements in order to make sure the given element is in fact not live.
The inductive measurement may be applied in order to detect an interruption in the electric circuit.

The soldering tool has been designed for the purpose of soldering metals with tin and lead binders for soft soldering. A
correct, reliable and safe functioning of the tool depends upon appropriate operation, and therefore:
