• Slide the guide shafts (20) into the corresponding
holes.
• Tighten the two wing screws (2) for the guide shafts
(20) again.
Replacing the collet (Fig. 7)
The supplied cutters all have an 8 mm shaft. Use the
already pre-mounted collet 8 mm for this. For cutters
with 6mm shaft, replace the collet (17) as follows:
• Press and hold the spindle lock button (6).
• Using the open-ended spanner (18) supplied, loosen
the union nut (21) by turning it anti-clockwise.
• Remove the cutter, the union nut (21) and the collet (17).
• Place the collet 6mm (17) on the spindle and fix it
with the union nut (21) by turning it clockwise.
Attention!
The union nut (21) may only be tightened when a
cutter is inserted. Otherwise the collet (17) can be
damaged.
Installation / removal of cutter tool (Fig. 8)
Warning! Pull out the mains plug.
Attention! Cutters are very sharp. There is a dan-
ger of injury.
Attention! After working with the router, the milling
tool remains very hot for a relatively long time.
• Select the cutter tool suitable for your application.
• Press and hold the spindle lock button (6).
• Using the open-ended spanner (18) supplied, loosen
the union nut (21) by turning it anti-clockwise.
• Remove the cutter tool already inserted and place the
selected cutter in the collet (17). The cutter must be
inserted at least 20 mm into the collet (17).
• Using the open-ended spanner (18) supplied, tight-
en the union nut (21) by turning it clockwise.
• Before putting the device into operation, check that
the cutter tool is firmly seated and running true.
10. Commissioning
m Attention!
Always make sure the device is fully assembled
before commissioning!
• Do not use low quality or damaged cutters. Only use
milling tools with a shaft diameter of 6 mm or 8 mm.
The cutters must also be designed for the respective
idle speed.
• Secure the workpiece to be machined so that it
cannot be flung away while working. Use clamping
devices.

• Always guide the mains cable away backwards!
• Never cut over metal parts, screws, nails, etc.
• If the ball bearing of a cutter has loosened, tighten
it again with the Allen key included in the cutter set.
Switching on and off (Fig. 9)
• To switch on, press the switch lock (9) and then ac-
tuate the on/off switch (10).
• To switch off, simply release the on/off switch (10).
Select speed (Fig. 10)
The suitable speed depends on the material to be ma-
chined and the diameter of the cutter.
• Select a speed in the range of 11,000 to 30,000 rpm
by turning the speed control knob (1).
Setting the cutting depth (Fig. 11-12)
• Place the machine on the workpiece.
• Loosen the tightening lever (13) and the wing screw
(7).
• Slowly move the machine down until the cutter
touches the workpiece.
• Tighten the tightening lever (13).
• Turn the step stop (4) to step 0 (0 mm).
• Slide the depth stop (4) down until it touches the step
stop (6).
• Use the fine adjustment (8) to set a reading on the
scale that makes sense for you.
• Slide the depth stop (5) upwards by the desired cut-
ting depth and fix it by turning the wing screw (7)
clockwise.
Attention!
The value displayed on the scale does not corre-
spond to the actual cutting depth. It must always be
set relative to the selected point on the scale.
• Now loosen the tightening lever (13) and return the
device upwards.
• Test the setting with a practical experiment on a
waste piece.
• If necessary, adjust the cutting depth with the fine
adjustment (8):
- To increase the cutting depth, turn the fine
adjustment (8) anti-clockwise.
- To decrease the cutting depth, turn the fine
adjustment (8) clockwise.
