In the case of frequency inverters of the VCB device series, the following is to be
considered:
The devices feature a common internal interface for communication with the interface
converter RS232-KP100 as well as with the extension boards VCI-232 and VCI-485.
With the interface converter RS232-KP100, it is not possible to use an extension board
VCI-232 or an extension board VCI-485 at the same time. Otherwise, there will be
collisions in the data traffic.
Due to the common internal communication interface
the following parameter settings are required for a functionally safe teleservice.

When extension board VCI-485 is installed and communication via the
interface converter RS232-KP100 is required at the same time, the Node
ID of the VCI-485 and the Node ID set in the control software VPlus must
be the same!
If the Node ID is not the same, no communication with the frequency
inverter is possible via interface converter RS232-KP100!
