HOW TO CONNECT WITH NOTES
Be sure to connect the power in the following
manner:
1) Make all connections as shown,
leaving power
wires@, @, and @ for last. Temporarily remove the
fuse (2A) from the back up/deck power wire.
.2) Connect
power
wires@®, ®, and © correctly as
shown in the diagram.
3) Turn on the Power
Switch of the console, and
confirm that the unit works properly. (Do this for
radio, not for tape).
4) Install the fuse (2A) into the back up/deck power
wire.
5) Confirm that the deck section operates properly.

Connect ground terminal to a grounded,

Notes:
e@When you are connecting the power wires, on
and off power contact can cause erroneous
frequency on the Fluorescent Display Tube.
Shouid this occur, disconnect power wires@, @,
and © and reconnect in a few minutes by the
correct procedure shown in the diagram.
@Do not atiempt to operate the deck section
without the back up/deck wire@ connected,
because
deck operation will not be correct
without this power lead connected.
e@When the tape is inserted for the first time, it is
possible for it to start in the "review'' mode. At
this time, depressing the Stop/Cassette Eject
Button will set the mode to tape playback, and
the unit will operate properly.
e@Do not disconnect the Inter Connection Harness
from the console unit after finishing connection.

@When not used, four terminais should be
insulated separately with tape to prevent
