@ Seek tuning
In the seek tuning mode, the tuner will count (up or down)
and stop at the next valid frequency (FM transmission).
This frequency will be received until the button is pushed
again.
Operate as follows.
@ Depress the seek button®. (LED it.)
When you want to select stations with strong signal
strength only, set the sensitivity changeover button@
to "'local"'.
J Depress the tuning button® (up or down).
The frequency displayed on the fluorescent display
tube changes continuously and stops when a station
' has been received. .
&J When you want to receive a station higher or lower in
frequency, depress the tuning button® (up or down)
once more.
Continue this operation until the station you prefer is
received.

@ Scan tuning
In the scan tuning mode, the tuner will count (up or down)
and stop at the next valid frequency. After 5 seconds, the
same is repeated for the next frequency.
Operate as follows.
@ Depress the scan button®. (LED lit.)
When you want to select stations with strong signal
strength only, set the sensitivity changeover button@
to "'local''.
B Depress the tuning button® (up or down).
When the station you want has been received
depress the tuning button® (up or down) again while
that station is being received (5 seconds) in order to
stop "scanning", and you can continue receiving your
favorite station. If the tuning button® is not
despressed, "scanning" will continue.
Note:
When you want to change from "scan tuning" to
another mode of operation (e.g. manual tuning, seek
tuning), be sure to depress the tuning button® (up or
down) during the 5 seconds of reception in order to
stop 'scanning'. During scanning counting you
cannot change to any other mode of operation.
