Machine
The 2 gear boxes (1 angle box between main input and
conditioner pto and the main frame itselves) contain Kroon
Abacot MEP68-oil. Exclusively use this, or an equivalent
ISO VG68-oil in acc. with DIN51517-3 or API GL3 or a
higher quality oil.
Attention:
The oil level in the gear boxes has to be checked

every 40 operating hours!
The oil level in the main frame can only be

checked if the main frame is in working position
(= horizontally)!
Never mix lubricants of different types!

Check oil level th: replenish until the lower edge of the filling
hole (e) or till the level is between the marking lines on the
dipstick (g).
Gear box contents are:
-
transfer gearbox: fill in fresh oil up to opening of the oil
level check plug (e),
-
main frame: 11 litres (9.7 Imp.qt.).
Lubricate grease nipples every 40 operating hours.
Lubricate all hinges regularly.
The top and bottom guides of the slotted hole must be well
greased at all times.
Greasing the flotation system:
Lift the mower to the highest possible position.

Grease the lubricating nipples (see 5.4.1).

5.4.3
Pto joint drive shafts
Grease the pto drive shafts in accordance with the
lubrication chart:
-
Pto drive shaft between tractor and mower: see fig..

Wide angle universal joint: see 5.4.1.
Attention:
Ensure profile tubes of pto drive shafts are well
greased at all times! Check a new or repaired mow-
er and/or drive shaft prior to first run and then every
20 operating hours!
Also ensure sliding surfaces of the protection tubes
are greased!
