Lift the mower to the highest possible position using the

wheel cylinders.
Run the drawbar cylinder fully out.

Pull out the linch pin (16) and the pin (15) on the left

hand side (see the illustration).
Drive in the spindle (7) to reduce the effect of the float

springs; drive out the spindle (7) to increase the effect of
the float springs.
Run the drawbar cylinder fully in.

Pull out the linch pin (16) and the pin (15) on the right

hand side (see the illustration).
Drive in the spindle (7) to reduce the effect of the float

springs; drive out the spindle (7) to increase the effect of
the float springs (see table below and figure).
If necessary repeat the steps from 5 to 12 until the best

adjustment is reached.
Adjustment for mower with conditioner only:
CONDITIONS
Heavy A = 465 mm
Middle A = 470 mm
Light A = 480 mm
Adjustment for mower without conditioner only:
CONDITIONS
Heavy A = 445 mm
Middle A = 445 mm
Light A = 445 mm
5.3 Blades
Ensure every skirt is equipped with two new or equally worn
blades of the correct type: '90258700' (rh) and
'90258699' (lh): an arrow on each blade shows the
direction of rotation! When one blade edge is worn, blades
can be fitted upside down to the same drum.
Ensure the blades are exchanged in time, using the blade
detachment tool (15). When changing blades at once
check blade attachment pin condition!
Always exchange all blades/blade holders per drum! Ensure
the blade holders of a drum skirt have the same part number!
For replacement of cutting blades move the machine to
headland position (see 3.3) and close the shut-off tap of the
lifting cylinder (when moving the machine to working position
open this tap again!).
